***November Taikai in Japan***
For any members who happen to be in Japan or are planning to attend the 10th Taikai in November, please see the following details:
Date and time: Saturday, November 16, 2024, 9:00-16:30
Location: Ota City Denenchofu Junior High School Gymnasium
2-60-1 Denenchofu, Ota City ☎ 03-3721-4241
Exit the ticket gates of Denenchofu Station (facing north) and walk east for 5 minutes.
Towards the Kanpachi Route. Enter through the south gate next to the pool.
Contents of the Taikai: Morning demonstration (embu), outstanding skill award
judging up to 5th dan.
Afternoon promotion judging
☆After the Taikai, there will be a social gathering.
1. Venue: Chiba-chan Kamata West Exit Store 18:00-20:00
7-3-3 Nishi-Kamata, Ota-ku, Daiichi Daigo Building, 7th floor 050-5488-0816
2. Route: Denenchofu Station ⇒ Tokyu Toyoko Line Tamagawa Station (1 station, 1 minute)
⇒ Tokyu Tamagawa Line Kamata Station (6 stations, 11 minutes) 180 yen
After exiting the ticket gates at Tokyu Kamata Station, take the stairs on the left down to the
West Exit.
When you get off, you will be at the West Exit Plaza, and you will see Don Quijote to the north.
Chiba-chan Kamata West Exit Store is on the 7th floor of that building. The elevator is on the
right side behind Don Quijote.
The inside of the store will be lined with long sunken kotatsu tables, just like last year.
Cost: 2,000 yen for Taikai only
6,000 yen for Taikai and social gathering
*Those taking the promotion exam will need to pay the exam fee and registration fee
separately.
☆Participants should bring their own indoor shoes. Participants are responsible for their own
footwear.
