Today we had a light class and since David was still experiencing discomfort in his ankle, we discussed the possibility of performing iaido techniques from a bench or stool. The discussion also led to the wearing of wakizashi, which is also something we do not train in our regular curriculum but it definitely made for an interesting conversation.
