A koto from late Muromachi (1574) recently acquired by one of our members. This wakizashi is mumei, but has been attributed by a swordsmith named Daido by the NBTHK and is papered as a Hozon - worthy of preservation.
The interesting thing about this blade is that history suggests that Daido was the personal swordsmith to Oda Nobunaga.
