Hi Everyone,
It's that time of year again and the Vancouver Eishin Ryu Iaido club will be having our annual summer party. This year we have another reason to ge together as it will be sort of a going away party for one of our most valued and senior members - Kelvin P, recently appointed yon dan.
Kelvin will be heading to Japan at the end of this month to embark on his musha shugyo, the warrior's pilgrimage during which he will hone his skills with duels. Just kidding. He'll be there for about a year or so teaching English and in his absence, he expects everyone in the dojo to train hard, maintain discipline, and support sensei in any way we can.
We have Jenny O. to thank for hosting the party this year. It will be held on Saturday, July 17th. Please contact Kelvin, Sensei or Jenny for directions.
