Akimatsuri and 2018 Bonenkai Party

Vancouver Eishin Ryu Iaido Club attended this year's Akimatsuri held at UBC Robson Square.  We did a demo and had a table set up for questions, answers and general show and tell.  Thanks Jaimmie for organizing!

Justin gives the odachi a try.

From left to right:  Alex, William, Jaimmie, Sensei, Justin (behind sensei), Mike, Jim, Richard, Peter, and Yi.
Honorable mentions:  Vince (bad luck with his neighbor), Brad (baby commitments), Henry (in Japan somewhere trying to get married), and Jason (mystery).

Koshi no Kanbai, our dojo's choice of sake.  1.8l of pure liquid happiness.

Alex starts off our alcohol fueled mini-embukai.

Yamato-kun also wants to play with sharp pointy things.

Winners of the mini-embu with sensei.  We might have to do a mini embukai again sometime!

Great party, loads of laughs, great to see everyone having a great time!
