Annual Iaido Christmas Party

Hi All,

There seems to be a bit of confusion about the party and whether my place is available or not.  I want to confirm with everyone that it most definitely is available, and Saturday, December 12th is good to go.

I checked my sent folder to see if I was intoxicated or half a asleep when I sent an e-mail saying that I could not host the party, but it shows that the last e-mail I sent to the group was the one below?

Anyway, it’s all good.  Just a heads up though, we just renovated the interior of the house recently and have not acquired new furniture yet.  I think I only have a handful of chairs.  Be prepared to sit in seiza, you should all be used to that anyway :)

Message from Ron re: Nanaimo Iaido Seminar 28Nov15

Hi Guys.

Peter Gunstone Sensei is holding a one day Seminar in Nanaimo on Saturday, November 28th.

We can carpool to the ferry in Horseshoe Bay, park our cars in the parking lots in the Horseshoe Bay Village, board the ferry as foot passengers, be picked up on the Nanaimo side, and be driven to the location where we will be practicing.

We need to know how many people are interested in going to the Seminar, so please reply to either Hiro Sensei or to me as soon as possible.

Message from Peter Gunstone Sensei

Good day to all,

Todo Kai, as you know, will be hosting the Kokusai Renemi 2015 seminar. All info and seminar registration can be now found on our website,  Todokai.ca.

We are grateful to have support of the Best Western Northgate Hotel in Nanaimo who have substantially reduced the room rate  for our seminar and will hold these rooms for booking  until April 28/15 at the discounted rate. As they have stated….“Please book early as rooms are available on a first come first serve basis. Any rooms not claimed will be released on April 28th, after which the discounted group rate will no longer apply.”  Please advise your

students of this great savings and that May/June is a busy time in Nanaimo for multiple events and hotels etc book up quickly!!

As you will note all payments will be sent to my home address and I will leave you with the option, as dojo heads, gathering all funds and sending them to me or have your students mail us on an individual basis. We will be happy to

answer any further questions through my email address, gunshot@shaw.ca ,

We look forward to sharing iaido with all of you in May!!

Thank you all so much,

Peter

Message from Ron re: Marpole Dojo

Hi Guys.Classes begin again this Friday,January 9th at the usual time-from 5:45 pm to 7:15 pm.

Sensei pays the Insurance money necessary to keep this Class going out of his own pocket,so it would be nice if more students would come out to practice at this location.
