May Seminar Registration

Hi Guys.

You can go ahead and register for the May Seminar even though you don't know if you will be testing.The money collected from the Seminar Registration will be used to pay for the expenses of the Seminar.The money for Dan Testing will be in Japanese Yen and will be paid to Kokusai Renmei.Previously under the CIA, all money collected for the Seminar and for Dan Testing went into the CIA Accounts because the Dan Certificates were issued by the CIA.

Message from Ron re: New Year's Lunch

Hi Guys,

Since Sensei was away around Christmas time,he wants to have our traditional New Year's Luncheon at 1:00 pm after this Saturday,January 19th's Iaido class.The lunch will be at the usual place-the Blue Star Japanese Bistro located on the north side of 4th Avenue between Cyprus and Maple Streets.

For the UBC online registration, you'll have to click on Instructional Programs, then Martial Arts - Iaido, then select whether you are Public, UBC Staff, or UBC Student.

Message from Ron re: Vancouver Seminar

Hi Guys.

Just a reminder that we will be holding our Seminar at the Scottish Cultural Centre located at 8868 Hudson Street in Vancouver on Saturday,January 5th,2013.There will be a morning session from 10:00 am. to 12:00 noon.The afternoon session will be from 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm.The cost for each session is $20.00.If you can not attend the morning session, you can attend the afternoon session and vice versa.However, Hiro Sensei has paid $560.00 for the rental of the space so we need as many students as possible to attend to recoup our money.
There will be a Sushi Lunch delivered at 12:00 noon at a cost of $10.00 per person and we need to know in advance how many people are planning to attend the Seminar and partake of the Sushi Lunch so that we order the correct amount of food.Please send a RSVP let us know if you will be attending and eating lunch.
